Hi, I'm Anjenette and I’m the founder of Old Fashioned Treats by Anjenette LLC. I was born in Michigan, raised in a home built on love and bonding. I was taught many life skills and cooking was one of those very important skills that became a passion and a talent for me.  Whenever I would visit my grandmother, I would assist her in the kitchen, whether it would be washing dishes, making fresh veggies, mixing puddings and her grandma's all-time favorite making cakes.  

My mother also played a role in my skillset, she would allow me to be free in the kitchen. I loved to make cookies and brownies and my mother would always let me be creative.  Soon making holiday desserts became my assignment for the family dinners, parties and picnics. These were some of the tools that inspired Old Fashioned Treats. 

 The big wow that put Old Fashioned Treats in motion was the voice of God in a dream.   A dream where God gave me the name of the business and every step to excel. He recalled a moment I had with my grandmother in her last days telling me, "to be the business woman, I always knew you would be." At the time I had no idea what my grandmother was referring to, was it my braiding, paralegal, writing? After the dream it all made sense and I knew what I had to do. Everyday God is still depositing steps, ideas, recipes, alterations into me.  That great voice of God and his love is what makes the beautiful tasteful treats you all love today.
